Questions
Is the lo-fi MIDI pack really free?
Yes. Enter your email and you get the download link on the page and in your inbox. There is nothing to pay and no account to make.
Can I use it in my own tracks?
Yes. Use the files in music you release and keep everything it earns. You may not resell or share them as a MIDI pack of your own.
What is in the pack?
4 chord progressions, each in all 12 keys in a folder per root note, with chords and bass on separate tracks, 8 bars each. Plus the lo-fi drum pattern and a basic beat with just the kick, the backbeat and one hi-hat, 4 bars on the General MIDI drum map. Everything is at 82 BPM.
Why is everything at one tempo?
So the files line up when you drag them in together: set your project to 82 BPM and the chords, the bass and the drums play as one loop.
Can I hear it first?
Yes. The progressions play on the lo-fi chord progressions page and the drums on the lo-fi drum pattern page, both in your browser.
What else do I get?
The same email has our free sound pack: 16 house drums, three electric guitar loops and five Serum 2 presets from our three paid packs, all royalty-free.
The notes need sounds. Our sample packs have drums, guitar loops and Serum 2 presets, and every sound can be played first.
