How the pattern is built

Kick 10
A short, punchy kick on every beat. Short, so the bass has room between the hits.
Clap 02
A hard clap on 2 and 4.
Open HH 03
Open hat on the offbeat.
Closed HH 11
Closed hats on the sixteenths, leaving the offbeats to the open hat. The swing gives them the shuffle.
Perc 03
A syncopated perc, the same idea as in tech house.
